They did sneak their stream cast service onto my bill which I don't think I need. Its their version of Netflix and it runs about 5 bucks. You really don't need a dvr with on demand now days but on demand doesn't fast forward or rewind as fast and sometimes forces you to watch commercial on certain channels.

You won't be paying a penny more for the same set up from legacy to X1.

And the other chance of extra charge is if you don't have HD or is not included in your package. The X1 is a way better experience then the old box.

They did nerf the interface a little bit last summer and the remote dvr isn't functional in every area yet but it is nice to be able to watch all your channels on your phone or i Pad and record 5 shows at once.

This has resulted in millions of consumers having and using these sets.

Offer limited to waiver of X1 Platform Upgrade fee and self-install kit fee. Limited to new residential customers who order online at I don't currently have a DVR, just an ancient ' Comcast' branded HD box.Honestly, I do not want to pay a penny more than what I am paying now for service, so I'll probably pass if that is the case.

  1. In fact, helping landlocked lesbians get laid was partly the point of On Our Backs: In the words of former editor Susie Bright, “we wanted everyone to be having the best damn sex of their lives.”At the time, there were a handful of small papers with a personals section specifically for women in search of women, but their raunchiness was curtailed by pressure from advertisers and printers, who would pull their business from a publication that smacked too much of homoeroticism.
